** PARA ADICIONAR UMA CONTA NUM DISPOSITIVO ANDROID, NORMALMENTE, PODE PROCEDER AOS PASSOS "normais" A PARTIR DO SETUP DO TELEFONE/TABLET->CONTAS e ADICIONAR UMA CONTA "GMAIL" ou "GOOGLE" **

Difference between POP3 and IMAP
You will choose either POP3 or IMAP when setting up your email client. Both connect to a mail server so you can read your emails.

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) Using IMAP, you read email on the mail server; email is not downloaded to your local device, it remains on the mail server.
POP3 (Post Office Protocol) Using POP3, you download and save email onto your local device (computer, tablet or phone).

Which is better?
IMAP is better if you are accessing email from multiple devices, such as a work computer, tablet and phone. POP3 works better if you are using one device, but have a large number of emails and wish to save your email locally. POP3 is also better if you have a poor internet connection or need to access your emails offline.

Here are email settings for G Suite or Gmail users. On iPhone select Google to setup your email.

IMAP Incoming mail
Server: imap.gmail.com
Require SSL: Yes
Port: 993

POP3 Incoming mail (não aconselhamos este método)
Server: pop.gmail.com
Require SSL: Yes
Port: 995

SMTP Outgoing mail
Server: smtp.gmail.com
Require SSL/TLS: Yes
Port: 465

Microsoft Outlook settings:
Outgoing SMTP Server:
Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): No
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Yes
Use same settings as my incoming mail server: Yes

Sent Items:
Do not save copies of sent items: Yes
(Note: sent messages are automatically saved in the [Gmail]/Sent Mail folder.)

Advanced:
Server Port Numbers
Incoming mail (IMAP): 993
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

Outgoing mail (SMTP): 465
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
